setting up access to individual ejournals-by vendor or publisher? Jennifer Castaldo 03 Jan 2013 16:01 UTC

Hello,
We recently subscribed to two individual ejournal titles through Ebscohost,
who is getting the titles from two different publishers. One for example, is
SLACK.

My question is: In Serials Solutions, what is the best way to make these
titles accessible? Should I enable "Ebscohost EJS" as the database and then
add the two titles within there, or should I enable the links through each
publisher separately, for example SLACK and then the other?
Are there pros and cons to either approach (linking to vendor or linking to
publisher)? How do you handle this in your A-Z lists? I am thinking I should
link them through EJS, since that is where we are getting them from, but
when I asked Ebsco which to choose they told me to link through the
publishers...

Sorry if this question is obvious. This is our first time subscribing to
individual ejournal titles, so I want to make sure that I am doing this
correctly and have a plan in place as we continue to add individual titles.

Thank you in advance!
