Re: Using alternate subscription methods van Sickle, Jennifer 26 Nov 2012 23:13 UTC

We use unmediated ArticleSelect from Wiley, and we recently signed up with Get It Now (CCC). I'm also monitoring Deep Dyve as they move into the academic market. AS has worked out very well for us, and we buy the maximum number of tokens. I do have to monitor usage so we don't run low. I'm happy to answer questions about this.

Subject: [SERIALST] Using alternate subscription methods

My library is considering different subscription methods, and using tokens/pay-per-view was on our list of things to investigate for more expensive journals. Is anyone using the pay-per-view method right now? How do you find it works for you? How do you utilize it? Do you have experience with products out there that aide in managing the token system?
