The Metadata Department at the Stanford University Libraries seeks
enthusiastic candidates for the position of Discovery Metadata
Librarian in the Metadata Development unit. The position supports
creation, organization, and maintenance of metadata to facilitate
discovery and access to resources in various formats, using
traditional cataloging standards as well as existing and emerging
metadata schemas and techniques, such as linked data. It also
includes reviewing print materials in Humanities subject areas for
discovery metadata creation.
