The Research and Instructional Support (RIS) team at Mount Holyoke College
is looking for an energetic and service-oriented new colleague to join us in
providing forward-looking library research and instructional technology
services to the MHC community.

RIS is one of four units within Library, Information and Technology Services
(LITS). LITS is a responsive and changing, venerable-yet-hip organization
that facilitates the creative use of information and technology for the
Mount Holyoke College community. It supports the educational priorities of
the College by providing instruction, materials, staff expertise and
equipment to sustain learning, teaching, and research, and to advance the
College's mission.

*Responsibilities: *Serve as liaison to one or more academic departments and
support the needs of the departments in relation to collection development,
library research and instructional technology; design, develop, and deliver
effective learning opportunities for faculty and students; lead the team's
communications initiative; provide library research and instructional
technology consultation in a variety of modes and settings; maintain high
level of customer service; and work with RIS team to create a welcoming
environment in which a diverse population of students, faculty and staff can
thrive.

*Qualifications: *ALA-accredited Master's or relevant advanced degree
required. Subject area expertise is open though some preference will be
given to candidates with expertise in the social sciences or working
knowledge of one or more non-English languages. 1-3 years providing
reference, research, and technology outreach and support in a library
setting preferred. Recent Master's graduates with related experience
encouraged to apply. Excellent oral and written communication, organization,
and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently required.
