NASIG 26th Annual Conference: Call for Discussion Groups publicist 07 Apr 2011 18:06 UTC

The NASIG Program Planning Committee (PPC) invites
suggestions for topics and volunteers to facilitate informal
discussion groups at the 26th Annual Conference in St.
Louis, Missouri, June 2-5, 2011.

Discussion groups serve to promote discussion among NASIG
attendees who have a shared interest in a topic, idea,
workflow, or product. The emphasis of these sessions is open
discussion and the generation of new ideas. The facilitator
must be registered for the full conference. Informal
Discussion Groups will take place on Saturday, June 4,
12:30-1:30pm.

Proposals will be accepted until Friday, April 22, 2011. Due
to the informal nature of the discussion groups, there is no
formal acceptance process. In late April, conference
attendees will have the opportunity to identify their
session preferences so that appropriate room assignments can
be made.

To propose a discussion group, please use the online form.
