I believe Ex Libris is working on a new version of SFX, 4.0, that will
update holdings once a week instead of once a month.

Thank you all. I heard from several people privately. Serials Solutions
appears to have had the updated JSTOR holdings by the first week of
February. Why Ex Libris still hasn't been able to get that update out is
beyond me.
