staff vs. man / print tasks / online tasks

Here's another vote for "staff" instead of "man."
Also I agree - if it isn't important whether something arrives or not, why
subscribe to it? For some of us it is important to know when something
doesn't arrive, and claiming makes a difference. Actually, at our library,
student use of print magazines & book checkouts have increased, after
several years of low usage.
As other libraries have shifted priority from print to online periodicals,
what sort of process have you undergone in your workflow and tasks? What
tasks are normally done by you to maintain online titles?
