The Seeley G. Mudd Library at Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin seeks an enthusiastic, creative, collegial, and service-oriented Director of Technical Services who will be responsible for planning, management and supervision of all technical services activities, including acquisitions, materials processing, cataloging, serials, and government documents. The Director of Technical Services supervises four support staff and several student workers.  This is a library faculty position with rank and responsibilities.

Requirements: MLS from an ALA-accredited library program; significant managerial experience in library technical services; experience with an integrated library system (we use the Ex Libris ALEPH system), preferably in a college library; excellent organization, communication, and project management skills.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications. The position will be available January 1, 2010.
