Hello,

Ohrstrom Library is investigating the pros & cons of discontinuing
periodicals check-in.  Our main reason for beginning to consider this is
our ever shrinking print periodical collection & limited staff time.

I read through the serials archives and found wonderful discussions from
2004 & 2005.  I am wondering if any of you, more recently, may have
tried this, considered this, attempted this, etc., and if you would be
willing to share your experience.

If you'd like to reply off-list I would be happy to summarize for the
group.
