I just checked our statistics online, and AAAS does not give a separate statistic
for ScienceXpress. We added this access a few years ago for a nominal fee after our
researchers asked for it.

Hello Serials Librarians:
I'm curious if you supplement your library's Science Online
subscription with ScienceXpress? ScienceXpress "provides rapid
e-publication of research papers, Perspectives, and other articles
accepted for publication." If you want access to the prepublication
articles in Science, you're going to have to pay for the privilege.
Though there hasn't been an outcry for access on my campus, it does
annoy enough researchers for me to look into a subscription.
If you do purchase this "add-on" can you tell me from your usage
statistics if it's a worthwhile investment.
Thank you for your assistance,
Liz Lorbeer
