Thank you for being in touch regarding the recent changes to The
Christian Science Monitor.

Although the frequency of publication has changed from daily to weekly,
the April 12 issue (the first of the new weekly edition) was the 85th
print edition published in 2009 (Volume 101).  Beginning in 2010 (Volume
102), there will be 52 issues of the new weekly edition published in the
calendar year.
