Re: Questions to veteran serialists

The new technology keeps me motivated in serials. I've worked in the Serials Dept. since 1977 when we received incoming issues on a cardex. Yikes I must be getting old!! Anyway, I've worked in serials in three different libraries and one library training center (PALS). We had our student workers check in our serial issues and the library technicians take care of the problems. Do you have specific questions? I would like to give you more information but not sure exactly what you're looking for.
Thanks
Mary Jo

Hello all,
Later this month, I will be participating in a discussion on veteran employees and what continues to motivate them.
I'd like some feedback from veterans in the field -- comments, observations and even suggestions.
I am especially interested in comments from community college serialists.
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
