In our III System the public note is viewed above the card information, so
if the card is deleted the public note is no longer visible.  Information
would have to be in the holdings line to be visible to the public.

Hi Sarah,

In the III System, when you delete the check-in card (which we do for titles
we are no longer receiving), the "Latest Received" line automatically goes
away in the OPAC.
