Re: Subscription Service Agencies

We use Harrassowitz as our main agent, and they are fantastic! We also use
Ebsco for some of our titles, and they also have good customer service.
They are a little more expensive though. I have been extremely pleased with
the response from both companies.

Subject: [SERIALST] Subscription Service Agencies
Hello,
I am hoping you all may be able to provide me with some feedback. I am
looking at subscription agencies for our periodicals here because the
agency we had been with was just acquired by another company.
I have requested and received quotes from most of the following vendors:
Basch Subscriptions
WTCox
Wolper
Ebsco
Popular
Demco
I am hoping for feedback on any of the vendors above - how is their
customer service? Have you had any issues with claiming and receiving
missed issues? How quickly are issues resolved?
You can email me off list regarding this if you like. Most of their
quotes are pretty comparable pricewise, so right now I am just more
concerned about customer service.
Thank you in advance for your thoughts!
Sincerely,
Kristin
