Thank you to all who have responded to my request concerning how you are
paying for "membership" subscriptions.

I have received 29 responses:

     17 pay memberships from serials or periodicals funds when the only
benefit is the journals; memberships for which other benefits are received
(voting privileges, discounts, etc.) are paid from an administrative fund.

     8 pay ALL memberships from serials or periodicals funds

     4 have unique situations and don't really fit into either of the other
two patterns.

You are a great group.  I really appreciate your help.  I think we have
enough responses now to be able to go back to our accounting department with
our argument.
