Jenny,
Andree is right in that Ovid is still in the stone age. For Institutional
electronic access, purchase must be made through Ovid. Wolters Kluwer
owns both Ovid and Lippincott Williams & Wilkins and who knows what else.
Another thing is that if you are keeping a current print subscription, you
must let them know, because then their online price is less. If you are
on ly having an electronic access subscription, then your price is more ($
X+) and it is more than the Institutional Print Only Subscription $ X).
(stone age because more publishers are considering Print Only or Online
Only as the same price)
There are at least 3 Nursing packages that you might want to look at.
For us, most of the titles are needed and we get to sneak a few others
in our subscriptions. There is a price advantage there)

Jenny, I don't think that is how Journals@OVID (Lippincott) defines "1
user."
It is one simultaneous user from within your IP range.
We serve a campus of >13,000 FTE, and we only have 1 user for each
Journals@OVID LWW title. Most of the time, this is sufficient.
OVID is in the stone age with their single simultaneous user restriction,
but that's another issue.
