Sometimes another publisher takes it over and "readjusts" pricing that
has been way too low. Don't know about the history of this one as we do
not subscribe. Nevertheless, letting the publisher know is good for
one's health and then cancelling if other journals at lower prices have
comparable content is another outlet. I always like for the journal
publisher to know when something way out of line occurs.
Bottom line is consult with others who know if it is essential or not,
and maybe cancel anyway.
