LAC seeks an experienced Library Technician with solid Voyager
experience for a serials re-cataloging and check-in project.  The
project is anticipated to start in early September and go through the
end of the year.  This is temporary project with full-time, regular
business hours.  There will be a professional Librarian and Library
Technician working on this project, which involves re-cataloging serial
titles that had been added in the system as monographs, creating a
purchase order, and then creating and filling out the check-in record.
The work is anticipated to be done on site at our client's organization
in Washington, DC.

Minimum Requirements

*        Experience working in Voyager (ideally 2 years or more)

*        Experience with acquisitions and serials strongly preferred

*        Experience with cataloging is strongly preferred

*        Two years of Library Technician experience is mandatory,
preferably in a corporate, academic, or special library

*        Ability to work effectively with others and work under the
instruction of the Librarian

*        Ability to work efficiently and maintain a very low error rate
