Hi Jaime,

We work with Serials Solutions; this allows us to have something called
an E-Portal, which is basically a database that lists all of our
electronic journals. Patrons can access any of these journals by
visiting our "E-Portal" available on our OPAC. Also, if a patron
searched for a journal in the catalog, they will see an "electronic
resource" field in the item record which provides a link to the journal.
It's all so easy!

Subject: [SERIALST] Patron Access to Electronic Journals

Hello all,

The E-Only Access question brought another question to my mind- if you
are switching to mainly electronic versions, how are your patrons
finding and accessing the journals?

My main question is this- is there another (free) way besides a link
resolver?

Thank you,

Jaime Hammond
