responses - use of CONSER standard record

Thank you to all who replied to my question about use of the CONSER standard record. First, I want to thank Hank at the University of Florida for providing me with a clarification. As he notes, the "new standard is a floor, not a ceiling. With the exception of the 362 indicator 0 no longer being valid and ■ being a valid option for the leader fields Freq and Regl, if you make no changes at all in how you catalog serials then you are STILL following the CONSER standard record." This was certainly a good reminder for me!
I received 16 responses to my query, which broke down like this:
2 libraries are using NONE of the new standard record changes
10 libraries are using SOME of the new standard record changes
4 are using ALL of the new standard record changes
Not everyone noted specifics, but of those who did, almost all mentioned the 362 field specifically. Interestingly, one person very much likes the new standards, while another very much dislikes the new standards.
Thank you again to all who responded.
