Re: Are others having problems retreiving JSTOR pdf files?

Might be of interest that JSTOR posted the following message on their
status page on the 14th July:
System Update, 07/14/08
An error that caused difficulties with the Adobe Reader Find and Search
functionality in downloaded PDFs is now fixed. This fix was originally
scheduled for the June 16th release but was postponed for further
development.
I'm not sure if this refers to the same thing reported by Patricia and
others?

Subject: [SERIALST] Are others having problems retreiving JSTOR pdf
files?
We have been experiencing trouble retrieving pdf articles from JSTOR.
We frequently get a page with the message "File is damaged and cannot
be repaired." This has happened with Firefox, and then when we try it
with Internet Explorer it would work. This morning, just the opposite
occurred- someone couldn't access a PDF with IE, but we did with
Firefox. We reported this to JSTOR last Friday and have not had any
"official" response yet. Has anyone else been having the same problem?
