For those of you who bind your periodicals, I have a few questions about your lettering on the spines.

Do you typically have your titles printed on the spines of the bound volumes horizontally or vertically?
Or does it just depend upon the binding company's thickness requirements?

If you have a binding company go back and forth between vertical and horizontal on different volumes of the same title, do you have them redo the lettering?

I am basically wondering how common it is for binding companies to make this type of error.
