RESOURCE SHARING LIBRARIAN
The Gumberg Library at Duquesne University seeks an innovative,
self-motivated, team-oriented
librarian to manage its resource sharing operations. A Master's degree from
an ALA accredited
institution is required. Experience with interlibrary loan and document
delivery in an academic
library is preferred.
Reporting to the Director of Information Services, this twelve-month,
non-tenure track faculty
librarian position is responsible for managing all aspects of resource
sharing workflow and
supervising three full time staff members. Providing reference service
comprises 15% of the effort
for this position. Additional duties include monitoring emerging technology,
promoting services to
the university community, compiling and assessing statistical data, and
serving on appropriate
library, university, and external committees and working groups.
