We just began a subscription to McSweeney's, and the first two issues
came in, v. 26 no. 1 and no. 2, I believe. Since the issues and the
OCLC record for the serial have no ISSN I emailed them. The reply was
that they use only ISBNs. Maybe they don't consider it a serial, even
though it is nominally a quarterly and has numbering. Our serials
receiving staff will probably have headaches with the title when it
comes in. If issues don't have numbering they will probably just get
classed separately.
