My only caution would be the support software.
We acquired a Minolta 2000 several years ago, when our computer was
operating under Windows NT 4.0. The image handling software was great, with
lots of features that made editing and e-mailing articles a breeze. Then we
got new computers, running Windows XP. The software that came with the
Minolta would not install on the computer, and we were informed that we
would need to purchase a new suite of software to work with Windows XP.

You can't go wrong with the Minolta SP2000.

We are looking to purchase a new microform reader, and would really like it
to have the capability to digitize the documents. I'm looking for feedback
from this group about models that work well, and models to avoid. Also, any
other issues that come along with providing this type of service that you
may have encountered.

Thanks,
