We search for and print claims monthly.  We keep track of the number
printed, but this does not necessarily correspond to the number of claims
sent.  Claims are mailed, emailed, phoned, etc. depending on
vendor/publisher or type of material (volumes, supplements, pocket parts,
reports, journals, micro, etc.)

Claiming helps us find renewals that have slipped through the cracks, state
and local government publications that have gone from print to the web,
titles that have ceased, etc.

We also get some of the materials we are claiming!
