The best we've been able to afford is a pay-per-use academic account via
STN Easy. Faculty have login IDs/passwords that may be used anytime.
We have 1 login for students (must be requested) that can only be used
during off-peak hours, generally after 5pm EST. However, this is about
a 90% savings. This system works well for us, since we are a small
liberal arts undergraduate college, but it may be inadequate for a large
university.

Subject: [SERIALST] Withdrawing Indexes
We're also in the process of removing those indexes that we feel are
superseded by electronic resources.
Has anyone found a reasonably priced electronic product that would
afford access to the material covered by Chemical Abstracts?
Thanks
Mary
