I am trying to persuade OCLC to schedule a Basic Serials Cataloging
workshop in Oregon or western Washington or even northern California.
They require assurance that at least 14 people will register for the
workshop.  My library (in Salem, Oregon) is willing to host. Now I just
need to find out if there are 13 other people who (depending on
when/where/etc it actually takes place of course) would like to take the
class.

It's a two-day workshop.  Here's a link to OCLC's description of one
