Against the Grain is now accepting submissions of articles for the April
2008 issue.  This theme for this issue will be ?The Google Effect?.

Possible article topics include:

How is Google affecting how you provide information to your users? For
example, do you include Google or Google Scholar in your tutorials ? How
do you include them and have you created any tools or aids?
Are you using Google tools to provide information to your users? For
yourself?
Are you and your colleagues using Google collaborative tools to create
tutorials or presentations; what are these products' strengths and
weaknesses?
If you work for a publisher or vendor, how does Google effect your
business?
Against the Grain is a partially refereed publication. It is indexed in
Library Literature, LISA, Ingenta and The Informed Librarian. Articles are
usually 2000 -- 2500 words in length.  Article proposals and / or
abstracts of articles should be submitted by January 25th, 2008!
The deadline for submission of the articles themselves is Feb, 28th.  If
you are interested in submitting an article, please let me know by return
