For the first time ER&L 2008 will feature four half-day pre-conferences
on March 18.  They are:

Morning Sessions:
- Mars and Venus for Information Professionals: Are your stakeholders
hearing the message you intended to send?
- LibX: Creating a New Search Tool for Your Library

Afternoon Sessions:
- Metadata Quality Control for Resource Discovery and Sharing
- Project Management: Basic Skills and Techniques

Each session costs $150.  For more information on the pre-conferences,

If you have already registered for the conference and would like to
attend one or more of the pre-conferences, please contact Bonnie
Tijerina (bonnie.tijerina@gmail.com) to have your registration updated.

Remember that early-bird rates are in effect for registrations by
January 10, 2008:

       Professional: $215
       Student: $105
       Paraprofessional/Support Staff: $165

After January 10, 2008, the rates are as follows:

       Professional: $275
       Student: $135
       Paraprofessional/Support Staff: $195
