Would books similar to these help? A bit dated, but I imagine journals
listed would be worth looking up. In First Search I searched "Education"
as subject, "journals or periodicals or serials" and "guide", then
pulled out only the books. There are several titles that are even older.

Education journals and serials :
an analytical guide /
Mary Ellen Collins
1988
English Book xxiii, 355 p. ; 24 cm.
New York : Greenwood Press, ; ISBN: 0313245142 (lib. bdg. : alk. paper)
9780313245145 (lib. bdg. : alk. paper)

A guide to journals in psychology and education / Wing Hong Loke 1990
English Book v, 410 p. ; 23 cm.
Metuchen, N.J. : Scarecrow Press, ; ISBN: 0810823276 (alk. paper)
9780810823273 (alk. paper)

Key resources on teaching, learning, curriculum, and faculty development
:
a guide to the higher education literature / Robert J Menges; B Claude
Mathis
1988 1st ed.
English Book Internet Resource xviii, 406 p. ; 24 cm.
San Francisco : Jossey-Bass Publishers, ; ISBN: 1555421180 (alk. paper)

Chapter six is "Periodicals and Reference Tools on Teaching, Learning,
Curriculum, and Faculty Development"

Subject: [SERIALST] Comparsion and ranking of prestigious Education
journals

Good morning!
A lecturer at our college is interested in publishing an article in a
peer reviewed high ranking journal in education/teaching.
She asked me if there is a list comparing and ranking prestigious
education journals. I did some preliminary searching and was only able
to find articles on the theory and significance behind ranking, impact
factors, citation analysis etc.... in science and economics.
(I do not have access to Citation Indexes).
I was wondering whether your collective wisdom could direct me to such a
list.
Thank you for your comments
