You are absolutely right (although you may have stolen my thunder if I
present on this topic :-)) I took this course several years ago and it
was well worth the time. It was a BIG step on my career development
path.

Cataloging Cooperative Training Program (SCCTP)

Anyone (library organizations, conferences, individual libraries, etc.)
can sponsor any of these workshops.  Potentially a relatively affordable
way for serials cataloging workshops to be made available.  I'll be
happy to answer any questions about these programs or questions can be
