The University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN, is seeking
two librarians to manage acquisitions, electronic resources, and serials.

The Acquisitions Librarian is responsible for managing the library’s databases
and print and electronic books. The incumbent is expected to play a leadership
role in determining acquisition workflow processes and administering the
library’s collection budget of over $1.6 million. The position supervises 1 FTE
paraprofessional.

The Serials Librarian is responsible for managing the library’s growing collection
of over 2,500 print and electronic journals. The incumbent sets policy for
selecting journals and works to increase the accessibility of the collection
through migration to online format. The position supervises 1 FTE
paraprofessional.

Required qualifications include a master’s degree in library or information
science from an ALA-accredited library school and experience managing
electronic resources. The salary for each position is $45,000, plus a full
benefits package, including 24 vacation days; comprehensive health care;
