Before I came to Harvard, myself and colleagues at the University of Notre
Dame wrote a book chapter dealing with this topic, to be published by
Haworth Press as "Electronic Resources Librarianship: The Human Element in
the Digital Information Age". We look at 100 position descriptions for
Electronic Resources librarians and then looked at the ALA accredited
schools various curriculum to see if any of their courses addressed these
needs.
