The Health Sciences Library at the University of North Carolina at
Chapel Hill seeks a knowledgeable, highly motivated person to provide
leadership in the provision of resource description and access. This
new full-time management position was created to increase participation
in local and consortial efforts to improve access to content via the
catalog and other finding aids, such as the "Search TRLN" functionality
under development (http://www.trln.org/digital.htm). This position will
also focus on exploring and expanding use of non-MARC metadata schema
for content description and access, and expanding cataloging support for
an increasingly vibrant special collections program.
