Duke University Press is the new publisher of the Notre Dame Journal of
Formal Logic
Duke University Press announces the addition of the Notre Dame Journal
of Formal Logic to its list of titles, beginning in 2008 with volume 49.
This recent acquisition represents a change in publisher only; the
editorial offices and editorial direction of the journal will remain
unchanged. The journal will continue to be hosted by Project Euclid and
will remain part of the Euclid Prime aggregation.
At Duke University Press the journal will continue to publish 500–600
pages per year. While subscribers to the journal will notice a price
increase—institutional print subscriptions are increasing to $170—the
price per page (approximately $0.40) remains lower than that of
comparable commerciallypublished journals.
In 2008 Duke University Press will offer several new subscription
formats for the journal for both institutional and individual
subscribers. Subscribers receive access to all electronic back content,
beginning with volume 1, published in 1960, with a current subscription.
Edited by the Department of Philosophy at the University of Notre Dame,
the Notre Dame Journal of Formal Logic is a leading journal in its
field, providing a forum where researchers working in all areas of
philosophical and mathematical logic can read and publish original work.
