Greetings,
By way of introduction, I am a business student at Cal State
Fullerton going
into my junior year. Eventually, I will earn a degree in finance
specializing
in securities analysis. By its nature this field requires a broad
knowledge of
economics, politics, international affairs as well as business
since all of
these factors come to bear in the fortunes of companies trying to
compete.
I would like to ask the recommendations of the knowledgeable people
on this
discussion list what Top 15 (or whatever number comes to your mind)
publications you would recommend so that I will have a better base
of
understanding for the job of securities analysis, that is,
determining the
prospects of one company within its industry against all other
possible
companies within their industries.
Well written periodicals are a wonderful way to tune in to issues
of any field
and I am very grateful for any advice as to which publications you
think
preeminent in its respective area of expertise.
Here are those that I have found worth their subscription price by
frequency
of publication. Please add any others you think would be useful.
