I asked a similar question earlier, so would be interested in any
responses. At the time of my query, someone provided me with contact
information for a group that was helping libraries that had lost
collections due to hurricane damage, but the e-mail bounced.

We no longer use microfiche to save our back issued print periodicals
but we are still holding on to the equipment and slides. All of which is
extremely old and no longer needed. We just don't know what to do with
it.
This inquiry is to those of you who have used similar equipment in the
past, please let me know how you disposed of those items.
