Re: Curious if anyone has same problem with EBSCO Melissa Farley 07 Mar 2007 15:16 UTC

Just a quick note about logging onto EBSCONet, I've noticed that you can
click in the customer code box and the drop down box will appear. You
don't have to type the first letter, first. I know it's not much, but
it does save one step of having to move from keyboard to mouse. It does
annoy me that there's this extra step--I'm all about efficiency.

I actually love EBSCO, but we have a really good rep., so I'm sure that
helps. There are things that bother me, but they usually take care of
them when I bring those problems to their attention. For example, the
on paper and .pdf versions of our invoice weren't that helpful to me. I
wanted to integrate the invoice with my Serials Database. So I asked my
EBSCO rep. if they could send me excel files instead. She asked the
appropriate person at EBSCO, and they made it happen. This has been
INVALUABLE and a great time-saver. I have always found EBSCO to be
helpful above and beyond what I think they're contractually obligated to
do. (But I don't actually know what the contract states.)
