I echo others' replies.  I am sure a lot of other people here will agree
that publishers do not generally ask our opinions on anything like
this.  In fact, publishers frequently change the numbering scheme or
"skip" an issue.  This leaves us wondering if the issue number was just
a misprint or a real change.  So, please do not just skip anything.  If
you change your publication pattern, please print the change in your
journal so that we know about it.
