Sorry to be coming in so late on this.  We have just joined a consortium
of other Affiliated libraries on the UC Berkeley campus to participate in
the OCLC Digital Archive ( http://www.oclc.org/digitalarchive/ ) which
will allow us to save issues of online-only publications in digital
format.  By virtue of being DigArch users, we're also part of the Content
Cooperative Pilot ( http://www.oclc.org/productworks/contentcooperative/ )
which would allow us to save non-web-accessible digital content such as
emailed newsletters.  (We've just started on using the Digital Archive,
and haven't looked yet at the CCP.)  Just another option to consider if
you have the resources for it.
