Re: Recent evaluations needed: Ebsco's and Serials Solutions' A-Z lists and article linkers Penny Lochner 16 Feb 2007 21:43 UTC

There's a good article in Computers in Libraries, Feb 2006, by Ross
Singer. It's part of the Helping You Buy series. The article includes a
comparison chart of different article linker products.

I am looking for recent information comparing these vendors' products,
why
one was chosen over the other,
and how they have performed once selected.
Any information would be appreciated: articles, informal discussions,
or
just some personal feedback from list members.
I have some good articles about these and other similar products, but
nothing more current than 2004
(for example, excellent articles by Virginia Lingle describing
implementation of the Ebsco products
and by John McDonald describing link resolvers).

Would appreciate if anyone could point me in the direction of finding
more
recent information, because
these products have undergone many changes in the past couple of
years.

Thanks very much for any help.
