Journal of Physics A Mathematical and General Beverly Geckle 30 Jan 2007 17:58 UTC

I'm wondering whether "Journal of Physics A Mathematical and General" changing to "Journal of Physics A Mathematical and Theoretical" requires a new record. Does the 5 word rule apply? The OCLC record #2242691 is still open, but a 246 has been added.
However, there is a new ISSN for the "new" title and a new OCLC record has been created #78212172.

Thanks,
Beverly

Subject: OCLC update for Journal of Physics A Mathematical and General

Hello!

I was wondering if someone out there in Serials would update an OCLC
record?

Journal of Physics A Mathematical and General (OCLC # 2242691) has
now been continued by Journal of Physics A Mathematical and
Theoretical (OCLC # 78212172). The change is reflected in OCLC
record for the new title, but not in the previous title. The last
issue published for Journal of Physics A Mathematical and General was
Vol. 39, Issue 50 (December 15, 2006).

Thanks,

Ken
