In our library we  choose, the (bi-monthly,v.,yr), pattern., and  add a
note in the check-in box, to add numbering.
Ex.
On pattern: v.1(2006 Jan/Feb)

 check in clerk will edit to     v.1, no.1/2(2006:Jan/Feb.)
