I am looking at the Conser Editing Guide and what I am understanding
about uniform titles is that there are only 3 times you would use
uniform titles with periodicals.
1. To bring together all entries for the same work when different
expressions of it have appeared under different titles.
2. To differentiate works published under an identical title proper.
3. To delete an initial article from the title of a section or part.
It seems that with what I am reading, the 3 times would not apply most
of the time for the bulk of our titles.
How may of you use uniform titles for your periodical titles on your
marc record?
If you use uniform titles, when do you use them?
Thanks for your help!
