Retention of print journals

Hello,
I'm working on a book chapter based upon my presentation at the ER-L
conference earlier this year. I'd like to include thoughts and comments
from other librarians regarding your policies and procedures for review of
print subscriptions for cancellation and how electronic access affects
that decision.
My library is also beginning the process of reviewing our print collection
in relation to electronic access. We are building policies and procedures
for the retention of print copies when electronic access is available and
would appreciate your response to these questions.
Thank you for your time and input.

Have you ever lost electronic access to a journal after the print
subscription was cancelled?
If so, did you resubscribe to the print or locate another source for
electronic content?
Do you subscribe to an electronic archiving product? If so, please
indicate which one(s).
Does your collection development policy discuss any of these issues?
If so, would you be willing to provide a copy of your collection
development policy?
