Hi Serials People,
Our library has a subscription to Education USA. I also noticed that they
changed the volume numbering. Quite a while ago I sent the publisher (LRP
Publications in Palm Beach Gradens, FL) an email asking about the volume
numbering. Their reply was since they were taking this publication over,
they decided to start the volume numbering with volume one!
I have been checking this title in using the original volume numbering and
adding a note also known as v.2:no.1 or whatever the current number is.
Fortunately, we do not bind this title and keep the current volume only.
If I were to bind it, I would put the year on the spine and not confuse
patrons with the different volume numbers.
I checked the OCLC record for this title and didnot see any notes about the
volume numbering. I am not a cataloger, but I think it might be a good
idea to have a note in the bibliographic record about the different
volumes!
I hope this helps you out!
Best wishes,
Judy Haven (aka Julie)
