I've had a note from Bill Cohen, publisher of Haworth Press Inc.
indicating their offices in Binghamton are very close to the river, and
as a result the basement of the building was flooded. The power grid was
turned off and phone service collapsed. The servers are safe, on the
second floor, and as power went off, they went on battery back-up and
are now working on restoring access.
The content of the server is duplicated elsewhere, and there are
multiple back-ups.
Haworth is considering both Portico and CLOCKSS, for permanent
archiving.
I'll pass on any updates I receive.

Subject: [SERIALST] Haworth's status?
For the past two days we have not been able to access any of the Haworth
online journals. I attempted to contact their offices via phone multiple
times yesterday, but I only received a busy tone. Their offices are in
Binghamton NY on the Susquehanna so we are concerned that they may have
been affected by the flooding in that area. Has anyone happened to have
heard anything from their offices?
Thanks in advance,
