Are you an energetic and motivated leader ready to move forward in the
ever-changing world of cataloging? The Cataloging Coordinator reports to
the Team Leader for Technical Services and Digital Access (TSDA) and
supervises one librarian and one exempt staff. This is a tenure track
position, with the requisite requirements of research and service.
Appointment at rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, dependent upon
qualifications. Minimum salary is $48,000. Required Qualifications:
Master's degree from an ALA accredited program; at least three years
cataloging experience (2 years post-MLS), including original cataloging in
more than one format and cataloging of foreign language material. Working
knowledge of cataloging tools, standards (present and emerging), and OCLC.
Demonstrated interest in the application of technology to the principles and
practices of bibliographic control. Demonstrated ability to teach, work and
lead others in a production-orientated environment. Demonstrated ability to
adjust to changing priorities. Excellent written and oral communication
