Call for Conference Reports from NASIG
Julia Gelfand 17 May 2006 21:39 UTC
Colleagues:
As co-editors of Library Hi-Tech News (LHTN), available on the Emerald
database, we are seeking conference reports from the just held NASIG
Conference and invite all interested persons to contribute a report
about one or more sessions that struck you as particularly relevant and
interesting. We have particular interests in technology applications
and welcome those contributions. Our intention is to have different
approaches and viewpoints and stream into a cohesive report. Length is
not important to monitor and we welcome embedded links or other
information to make the text more varied and interesting reading. Since
we missed the opportunity for requesting this earlier, we will title
this compendium, "Impressions & Reflections of NASIG 2006." The
deadline for the August 2006 issue is June 23.
Please send all contributions as MS Word attachments with your name,
title, affiliation and eMail address at the end.
If you are interested in contributing to this report, please let us know
what sessions you may likely cover (we can certainly entertain different
viewpoints and coverage. Thanks for your consideration and interest in
LHTN. Please let us know if you plan to contribute. We welcome authors
who presented to summarize their programs.
